Appreciating music can be a very personal and multi-sensory experience: sometimes, you don’t just hear it. This artwork-grill was inspired by favourite musical performances of the past, seen through the lens of the microscopic groove-cuts found on vinyl records: an analogue technology which miraculously clung to life. Magnified, its undulations look like the rough stone of mountains and canyons, but these actually represent a version of the sound waves that was once captured by a microphone (or created on a computer). And as you listen to music through our products, you too can experience it as a multi-sensory event: you won’t just hear it, you’ll see it, and — hopefully — be moved by it.

Taking a different route, we treat our audio products as pieces of functional art. Designed in The Netherlands and skilfully made in the EU, each product features a special interchangeable artwork-grill: Openings are carefully carved from solid material — a bit like sculpting — to create a monolithic grill that simultaneously lets through sound as it blocks out light to form a black-and-white image.
Our registered ‘frustum-shaped’ enclosure is modular, offered as a premium WiFi-speaker or acoustic room-treatment system.
